Description du service

We have guided on Yr Wyddfa for over 10 years and it’s probably our favourite mountain in the UK, Yes it is busy and the popular paths of the Pyg and the Llanberis although amazing can get very crowded, but did you know there are many paths and routes to the amazing summit, a traverse of Y Lliwedd, a scramble up Cribau, the long and winding South Ridge with its amazing views of Cwm Tregellan or for the adventure seekers among you the challenging Snowdon Horseshoe with its traverse of Crib Goch. What these routes all have in common is they are quiet, watch the crowds from routes less travelled and enjoy the solitude of this majestic mountain. What do I need? You will be spending the day at venues in a mountain environment and finishing around 4.30pm so a day pack containing the necessary clothing to keep you dry and warm is paramount. This activity can be tailored for the Novice walker or for the regular hill walker who wants to expand their experience in the mountain environment and move onto routes that require the need to move over ground that requires climbing of small rock outcrops as part of the journey. Good sturdy, well-worn boots are a must. Don’t worry we’ll have everything else covered! Upon booking a full kit list and further details will be sent.
